The Greenville Branch of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina serves 8 counties in eastern North Carolina. They are Carteret, Craven, Greene, Jones, Lenior, Onslow, Pamlico and Pitt counties. Three counties served are shared with the Raleigh Branch; these counties are Duplin, Edgecombe and Wilson counties

Last year over 6.9 million pounds of food was distributed to 151 agencies in those counties.

The Greenville warehouse is 22,900 square feet and has the capacity to store 274 pallets in dry storage and 100 pallets of refrigerated/frozen food.

The Greenville Branch supports 6 Kids Cafe programs.  The Kids Cafe program served nearly 25,000 meals in the past year to children in the counties served by the Greenville Branch.

Greenville Branch News: Congratulations, Greenville Branch! On Wednesday, April 9, 2008, the Greenville Branch reached its 45 million pound milestone!  Congratulations to supplying Carteret, Craven, Greene, Jones, Lenior, Onslow, Pamlico, Pitt and the shared counties of Duplin, Edgecombe and Wilson with 45 million pounds of food since 1999. Starbucks Food Drive in Greenville - Starbucks in Staton Square held a food drive for the Greenville Branch of the Food Bank on July 11 and 12.
